Description
RoleFull-time post working as part of a team responsible for responsive repairs, void management, and statutory compliance. Applicant will be responsible for carrying out inspections of void and tenanted properties. Provide advice to colleagues and deal with tenant repairs enquiries/complaints.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and report on statutory obligations
- Gas, Electrical Safety, Legionella, FRA, Asbestos.
- Carry out inspections of Teachers' housing stock
- Raise orders to contractors
- Organise and supervise contractors to ensure jobs are completed on time, to the required standard
- Deal with daytoday repairs and void enquires/complaints
- Write detailed specification of works, reports
- Be a point of contact and provide technical support to other teams
Requirements:
- HND/C or equivalent in building surveying or similar standard
- Sound knowledge of building construction, best practices and Regulations
- Previous experience of working in a similar field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and work accurately and flexibly
- Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 2-6 months
Salary:
From £16.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
