Salary £21,100 - £22,202 (depending on experience)

Hours: 36 per week


Location:
St Helens


As a Support Worker you will provide high quality housing related support, guidance & advice to vulnerable people (and sometimes their children), enabling them to resettle and/or sustain their tenancy.

This includes teenage parents, people with mental health problems, support needs related to the use or misuse of alcohol or drugs, people leading chaotic lives and those with complex needs.

Assisting people to claim benefits & support with budgeting & debt management.

It's a challenging role but one that brings lots of rewards, seeing people flourish with the support that you provide to them and knowing that you've made a difference.

Who should apply


We are looking for enthusiastic and approachable people who have knowledge and experience of working within the housing, care and support sector with young people and / or adults.

You should have knowledge of the issues faced by vulnerable and socially excluded people including those with mental health problems / alcohol misuse / substance misuse / offending behaviour.


If you are a proactive person with the required specialist knowledge, who can listen effectively, is supportive, works respectfully and can identify with the organisation and the role, we would love to hear from you.
