- Set up and operate CNC turning machines to fabricate high-quality parts.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications for machining operations.
- Prepare cutting tools, fixtures, and attachments for each task.
- Oversee initial inspections and monitor machine operations for optimal performance.
- Inspect finished components using precision instruments to ensure they meet specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues during the machining process.
- Conduct regular maintenance on CNC turning machines for efficient functioning.
- Collaborate with team members and quality control personnel to streamline production.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to safety protocols.
- Prior experience as a CNC Turner or in a similar role.
- Proficient in operating CNC turning machines.
- Knowledgeable about G-codes, CNC controls, and quality control practices.
- Skilled in reading technical drawings and blueprints with precision.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Sound mechanical understanding and machining principles comprehension.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal talents.
- Experience with Fanuc controls is advantageous.
- Capability in generating accurate quotations and estimations.
