    Description
    Empowering Learning are looking to appoint an SEMH Teaching Assistants to start as soon as possible.

    The school, rated 'Good' by Ofsted is a specialist academy for children and young people with autism and or social, emotional or mental health needs from 9 to 19 years.

    The school combines the nurturing approach of a primary school with a range of curriculum and facilities of a Secondary School and a close working relationship with families.


    We are looking for candidates who:
    Have experience or the desire to work with children and young people with additional needs
    Have a Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
    Have a good understanding of complex and challenging behaviour
    Believe in Positive reinforcement
    Are good team player and be able to work efficiently alone
    Are adaptable and able to think on their feet.
