Description

Our client, an impressive global manufacturing company is currently seeking a Production Assembler to join their Operations department at their facility in Bury St Edmunds.

This is a full-time, permanent role offering working hours of Monday - Thursday 07:00 - 15:30 and Friday 07:00 - 12:30 and a starting salary of £20,000 - £23,000 per annum depending on experience.

The company design, develop and manufacture high-performance products and solutions for the ever-growing image capture and content creation market.

Working within the Manufacturing team, carrying out the production of highly complex mechanical products. Inspecting as required and providing other support to the department as required. Primary duties and responsibilities will include mechanical build and inspection of Pedestals and manual heads. To carry out "in-process" testing and suggest improvements within the manufacturing process.


Ideally, they are seeking someone who has some experience or working with mechanical products working within an assembly environment as well as the following skills and attributes:

  • A flexible attitude to helping in all areas within the department
  • The ability to read, understand and interpret engineering drawings
  • Must be well organised with documentation and reporting if required
  • Trouble shooting skills
  • Adaptable and able to quickly learn new processes
  • Background in working with mechanical devices
  • Quality focussed
  • Some experience of working with mechanical parts
  • Selfmotivated with drive and enthusiasm to get this done
  • Willing to do additional hours when required at short notice
  • Follow the current company H&S guidance
