Business Development Manager
-
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer as Business Development Manager you will:_

  • Assist in establishing and driving a new sales strategy
  • Grow sales of Smart Grid products, DC smart network solutions and EV chargers
  • Create an effective customer database across all markets and geographies
  • Make effective use of social media
  • Communicate technical products and services to prospective clients in a clear and concise manner
  • Conduct business opportunities analysis in conjunction with the Marketing function

As Business Development Manager, you will need to be:_

  • An experienced Business Development Manager, ideally with a strong track record of achievement in Power Electronics
  • Able to demonstrate a portfolio of clients in the Energy and Transport sectors (including fleet operators)
  • Have a proven track record in selling Smart Grid products, DC smart network solutions and EV chargers
  • Qualified to degree level in Business or Engineering
  • An excellent communicator
  • An accomplished negotiator
  • Able to identify commercial and technological synergies
  • Great at presenting
  • Able to work to tight timescales
  • Capable of coordinating projects
