You'll play an essential role in maintaining the balance between 'service' and 'cost' that makes travelling with us both accessible and enjoyable.
Reporting to the Finance Manager - Flight Operations, this role entails supporting all accounting activities related to Fuel, Crew, Navigation, and Disruption costs, along with internal and external financial reporting.
You will work closely with Operations Finance and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and insightful information is consistently provided.
Responsibilities include owning current costs, delivering month-end activities, analysing data to enhance cost understanding, and collaborating on cost-saving initiatives.
Additionally, you will partner with Operations Finance, the wider business, and Group Financial Reporting to demonstrate full ownership and understanding of the cost base.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of the financial control framework and drive strategic plans forward.
You will have a proven track record in digesting and interpreting accounting complexities across balance sheets, cash flows, and P&L statements, translating them into actionable insights for operational support with meticulous attention to detail.
Bridging the gap between finance and non-financial stakeholders will come naturally to you, all while embodying proactive teamwork. Proficiency in Excel, including basic macros, and experience with Planning Analytics are highly desired. Competitive base salaryUp to 20% bonus

LOCATION & HOURS OF WORK This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week.
