£60,000 pro rata plus benefits
Location of Role:
Head office in Buxton, Derbyshire and other project and / or operational sites as required. Possibility to work from home.
Purpose:
We are currently looking for a Head of HR to lead and manage the HR function within Cobalt Energy Limited (CEL) and be the strategic lead for the Cobalt Energy Group of companies (Group).
As Head of HR you will play a pivotal role in shaping our workforce strategies and contributing to the Group's continued growth.
You will work closely with the Legal Director and senior management team by balancing the day-to-day needs of the CEL HR department with facilitating the Groups overarching people strategy and management of risk, whilst helping to drive forward our objectives and positive people culture through our core values.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the HR function for CEL and the Group and support the operating companies HR Manager with any operational HR matters as and when required.
- Provide professional HR advice to the Group Legal Director and senior management team.
- Ensure CEL is fully compliant with all statutory requirements.
- Prepare and lead on a HR strategy for the Group (including recruitment)
- Management of CEL HR processes such as investigations, disciplinaries, and grievances where necessary, in line with Group policy.
Qualifications / Experience / Skills / Competencies:
- Educated to a Degree or MSc level in Human Resources and/or hold or be actively working towards the Level 7 CIPD.
- Hold CIPD membership.
- Have indepth knowledge of data protection/GDPR and UK employment legislation and pending changes.
- Hold previous experience working in a senior HR position for a mediumsized organisation.
- Act with integrity, with the ability to maintain confidence.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
We would politely request no agencies please; we do have existing arrangements with agencies who perform an excellent service, but we maintain several approaches to the recruitment of new staff, and we are not looking for any new agencies at this time.
