Our client is a highly profitable and ambitious service business that has grown phenomenally from scratch to c.£350m sales and 440 staff in approx.

15 years. Its finance department and people have grown and progressed with the company and the departmentis now c.20 people strong.

The company is now on the next stage of its truly amazing journey and we're now looking to help further strengthen the finance team, by recruiting a progressive, career-minded and commercially-focussed part-qualified accountant toa newly created FP&A Analyst role.

Reporting the Finance Director and Head of Financial Reporting you'll join a small, growing team with responsibilities including:

  • Liaising with senior management, heads of departments and other key leadership figures
  • Preparing financial and strategic plans
  • Building budgets and forecasts for management and investors
  • Analysing past financial performance, preparing competitor analysis, and examining market trends along with commentary for management
  • Creating financial models to predict growth and forecast performance
  • Analysing previous budgets and forecasts, performing variance analysis and providing commentary and explanations
  • Evaluating new and existing projects, investments, and assets to determine their viability and appraise their value
  • Recommending improvements in the use of financing structures
  • Finance projects including systems and process improvements

You'll offer:

  • A highly commerciallyoriented approach, ideally with exposure to FP&A, planning, forecasting and analysis
  • CIMA or ACCA partqualified or equivalent
  • A progressive, proactive, ambitious and flexible approach
