The Scottish FA is seeking two bright, proactive individuals, on a 6 months fixed term basis, with the ability to work in a fast paced and challenging project and play an integral role in all aspects of the implementation and delivery of our online Football Management System (FMS) platform COMET, supplied by Analyticom.

The FMS will service all aspects of the game going forward.


The role will provide essential administration support to the FMS Project Team by assisting in all administrative aspects associated with the key implementation and delivery requirements of our new Football Management System (COMET), working closely with all members of the project team and key stakeholders across Scottish Football.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist with all administrative aspects of the planning, execution, and delivery of the Football Management System Project.
  • Perform ongoing system administration tasks on Football Management System (COMET)
  • Provide full administrative support to the Football Management Project staff
  • Programme Manager, Project Support x 3 and Education & Engagement Manager
  • Support system performance testing to maintain highest level of quality and using the FMS Service Helpdesk to analyse, support, resolve and document incoming queries from users.
  • Liaise with designated National League and Affiliated National Associations to provide administrative support in Player Registration, Competition Management, Discipline, Licensing, Data reporting, Match Day, Courses and Apps

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:


  • Sound and proven experience in administration
  • Experience in projects, or administration support experience
  • A passion for football and an understanding of Scottish football organisations and structures.
  • Experience of data capture, report generation and analysis
  • An understanding of Information Technology and how it can be used to improve services
  • Ability to interpret flowcharts, schedules and step by step action plans.
  • Strong client facing and teamwork skills
  • Solid organisational skills, including multitasking and timemanagement
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
