A Hybrid working model

Department Summary


Hogarth's end to end production company offering incorporates a team of specialist producers that are dedicated to delivering creative excellence across both film and content.

We offer end to end post which includes edit, audio, animation and grade.

We can work on any briefs from any clients from case studies, pitch, mood and sizzle films all the way to broadcast TV commercials.


What does the Head Of Content Production do at Hogarth?


The role of the Head of Content Production will involve managing a team of Content Producers across stills and moving image, ensuring all content production briefs are allocated to the appropriate producer.

You will work closely with the Head of Production Operations to oversee all content production and to drive quality, creativity and efficiencies across the wider Content Team.

As Head of Content Production you'll manage the triage of content briefs from Hogarth account teams, agency partners and direct clients, working closely with the other Heads of Production (Production Company, Agency and Post) to ensure the right fit solution for the brief.

You will focus on building relationships both internally and externally, ensuring that expectations are managed and delivered, whilst supporting development of the producers within team.


  • Day to Day management and ownership of the Content production team
  • Line management of the all the content producers from junior to senior.
  • Allocation of incoming project to producers, ensuring they are briefed correctly and in a timely manner
  • Maintaining of communication with the other Hogarth Heads of Production (Production Company, Agency and Post) to manage the triage process and ensure that briefs are allocated to the appropriate producer (across the UK offices and within our international hubs).
  • Manage the capacity and growth of the Content Production team (producers), recruiting new producer talent on a fulltime and adhoc basis as required
  • Drive growth of the Content workstream alongside the Production Strategy director to ensure we're developing our content offering and cultivating client relationships
  • Develop long lasting and trusted relationships with the team, client and creative agency, including Brand Managers, Creatives and Project Managers
  • Make sure that the assigned projects are produced to a high creative standard, delivered on time and within the agreed budget by the designated producer.
  • Maintain consistent communication with your client contacts, from an overview / business perspective.
  • Support the content producers with their development, providing consultative production solutions and supporting with any escalations.
  • Manage the lead producers' workload & personal development and represent the team during the department leads calls
  • Collaborate with the Production Operations lead to identify efficiencies in ways of working
  • Support active pitches and incoming briefs
  • Work with the team to collate and file bestinclass content examples alongside key information for case studies
  • Actively search for and build a dats based of freelance/new talent to support team growth
  • Ensure project tracker is updated daily with the progress/finances of all jobs, and flag any issues to the relevant internal escalation points
  • Ensure the producer team reconcile work correctly and within the agreed budget
  • Play an active role defining problems, recommending solutions and establishing resourceful conclusions both internally, and externally with the client and Agency
  • Continually defines ways to increase client satisfaction and deepen client relationships, by doing end of job wash up to see where we can improve and make the work better moving forwa
