Description

We are looking for a commercial accountant to join our team as FP&A Manager.

This role will report into the Finance Director as part of our wider finance team supporting the Group.

This is a pivotal role in a dynamic and growing media group, delivering critical financial information and insight to stakeholders across the businessto inform their decision making.

This role provides a fantastic opportunity to develop your career in commercial finance, with exposure to a wide range of activity (including content creation, app development, subscription products, advertising services andeCommerce).The role has a broad remit and significant scope to further shape the direction of the FP&A function as the needs of the business continue to develop.

Day-to-day, you will manage a commercial analyst and be responsible for regular reporting, forecasting and producing the financial analysis required by the business.

You will work with the Finance Director and Finance team on plans to develop the Group'sFP&A capability and then take responsibility for executing the plan.

Role and Responsibilities:

Develop the capability and efficiency of the FP&A team to provide solutions that deliver on the needs of business stakeholders;
Be the key Finance Business Partner to stakeholders across the business;
Produce monthly reporting packs for distribution to the Board;
Manage forecasting for all of our business lines;
Work closely with our partners at Warner Bros Discovery to provide them with the financial information they require.

Skills and Experience:

Good stakeholder management and influencing skills;
Commercial awareness;
Good verbal, written and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate financial information to the wider business;
Highly numerate, with analytical skills;
Knowledge of accounting principles relevant to a commercial finance role;
Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA).
