Description
The post holder will be employed as a whole time Urology Specialist on the basis of 40 hour week.


The department staff includes one Associate Specialist, five Urology Fellows (including this one) a specialist registrar from the North Thames rotation, a Research Registrar, a Core Surgical trainee on the local BST rotation, and two Foundation Year 1 Doctors.

We are supported by three consultant interventional uro-radiologists.


Nursing staff include three uro-oncology nurses, three specialist nurses for the lower urinary tract, two ward based advanced nurse practitioners and a specialist pre-assessment nurse.

In addition to the thriving Stone Unit, we have significant experience in HoLEP laser prostatectomy. Our renal cancer surgery is performed on site.

Radical prostatectomy performed at the Essex cancer centre in Southend by our Uro oncology team which includes our Urology Fellow.
