- Provide administrative and operational support to the Infectious Disease team to facilitate smooth project delivery.
- Own the project control environment, ensuring compliance with project management processes, upkeep of documentation, progress monitoring and risk management.
- Lead on the operational elements of contract administration and grant management for projects in the ID portfolio.
- Work with the Senior Programme Manager and other Project Officers to ensure smooth operational running with the ID team and support programme-level activities as appropriate.
- Contribute to the initiation, ongoing oversight, and conclusion of projects and awards in Infectious Disease team acting as the main point of contact for defined projects.
- Contribute to a diverse and inclusive culture across the organisation, collaborating across departments.
- Open to working across multiple teams and disciplines.
- Experience working in a project and / or portfolio management environment and familiar with project and / or portfolio management processes and practice.

We are looking for three Project Officers to join our team.
Where in Wellcome will I be working?
These roles in the Infectious Disease division will be responsible for effective administration of workstreams and work packages related to a set of projects in the ID portfolio, working with individuals in our Epidemics & Epidemiology team, Health Systems & Environment team and Prevention team. The role will be cross functional across these teams in ID and will include monitoring project progress and maintaining compliance with Wellcome's project management processes.

Our Hybrid Way of Working
