The Role:
As our Asset Data Manager you'll be accountable for workload, performance, resource levels and budget across the Asset Data team.
We need you to support and drive development and succession planning across the team, supporting delivery of performance improvementplans, as required.
You'll be collaborating with the wider Operational Performance Leadership team to ensure delivery of strategic objectives and solving complex issues using multiple tools and techniques, and managing multiple demands/projects and delivering to deadlinesOther accountabilities of the Asset Data Manager include:
- Developing and implementing Cadent's Asset Data Strategy through agreed programmes of work to improve asset data; always ensuring work is aligned to Cadent's Data Foundation programme
- Accountable for asset record update processes following work on site and ensures compliance to internal policies and HSE regulations
- Responsibility for delivery of load shedding activities in line with wider incidents
- Accountable for the provision of field force support hub
- Identify asset data silos, offline spreadsheets and databases and working with IS and stakeholders to establish their value and the potential for integration into core systems or secure future stability
- Work with key Stakeholders to determine and shape the technology solutions that will remove waste from the end to end asset lifecycle and improve quality and completeness of asset data
- Ensuring that the critical network asset data attributes are defined and clearly articulated to the business
- Defining and implementing appropriate Asset Data performance standards and KPI's for the department and business to adhere to
- Ensuring all parties involved in the end to end asset lifecycle are aware of and adhere to their stated roles and responsibilities with regards to complete and accurate asset data, through periodic verification and measurement of compliance
- Develop, implement and undertake a structured program of riskbased asset data, qualitative and quantitative assessments across all asset groups and associated critical data attributes
- Ensure appropriate Business Continuity measures have been developed and established to maintain robust asset data records
