    Electrical Engineer - Research and Development

    Salary: c£35-45k negotiable depending on experience + benefits

    Location: Leicester

    About the Company: Our client in Leicester has a rich history spanning nearly 30 years, specializing in manufacturing, installing, and servicing thermal management solutions for a wide range of customers across the UK and Europe. They cater to various industry sectors with diverse applications.

    About the Role:

    • Joining a professional team, you will support the design and development of a range of solutions like air blast coolers, water heat exchangers, and recirculation chillers.
    • The ideal candidate will hold at least an HND in a relevant engineering discipline and have over 3 years of experience in electrical design within a manufacturing environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Create electrical schematics, preferably using AutoCAD Electrical.
    • Wire and develop machines and work with controllers and PLCs.
    • Ability to analyze test data.

    Requirements:

    • Demonstrated proficiency in communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Positive attitude and ability to work autonomously or as part of a team in high-pressure situations.
