I am currently recruiting a permanent Junior Credit Controller role for a Retail company based in London.

Client Details

My client is a large Retail company who have seen a recent boom in success so as a result they are looking to hire a Junior Credit Controller to join their team on a permanent basis.

This role will be based from home 3 days a week and the remaining 2 will be based in their London offices

Description

The Junior Credit Controller will be responsible for:

Ensuring that customers pay amounts owed to the company on the due date, including the speedy resolutions of any queries or claims in liaison with the customer services team.
Reviewing financial information, credit reports, customer pay history, etc. to recommend appropriate credit limits for assigned accounts.
Allocating and bank all cash received into the business on a regular basis.
Maintaining the customer master data.
Gathering quantifying data and generating reports to assist in collections and identifying problem areas.
Preparing periodic and adhoc reports for management, as requested.
Identifying and recommending opportunities for improvement in existing procedures and processes consistent with company policies and procedures.
Providing support and analysis for special projects, as needed.
Performing other duties as required / assigned by manager.

Profile

Have 12 years experience in a Credit Control role
Preferably have experience with a multicurrency or company environment
Have Experience of working under pressure towards monthly targets and strict deadlines.
Be experienced dealing with allocated ledgers
Show the ability to communicate with customers in writing, by telephone and sometimes face to face.
Must be computer literate having a good knowledge of MS Office
