Are you an organized and proactive individual with a knack for managing high-level administrative tasks and supporting impactful projects? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at the heart of the University's Business School.


As an Executive Assistant and Project Support Officer, you'll play a crucial role within our Executive Office, a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

You will provide direct high-level administrative support to the School's leadership while also contributing to some of our most exciting projects including Oxford Said Online.


Key Responsibilities:

Executive Assistant (0.5 FTE):

  • Develop and implement streamlined office administrative systems, collaborating with other Executive Assistants to ensure the smooth coordination of the Executive Office's activities.
  • Prioritize tasks and allocate responsibilities to staff on behalf of the Director.
  • Respond to various issues on behalf of senior representatives, exercising tact and discretion.
  • Prepare reports and briefing papers for senior staff, engaging in thorough research.

Project Support Officer (0.5 FTE):

  • Act as the first point of contact within the School for the Associate Fellow overseeing externallyappointed staff.
  • Coordinate both onsite and external events.
  • Assist the Associate Fellow in building key relationships across the School and providing diary support.
  • Manage travel arrangements for the Associate Fellow's Schoolrelated trips.
  • Oversee internal communications, ensuring all School members are wellinformed of progress.
