Job Purpose


At Veritas Solicitors as an Assistant Legal Cashier, you will ensure all movement of monies coming in and going out of the firm are dealt with accurately and efficiently in accordance with SRA regulations and timescales.

Maintaining the business and client's ledgers ensuring accuracy, attention to detail and integrity are always applied.


Competency Requirements

  • Processing client recipes/Bacs Payments IN
  • Processing client payments OUT
  • Reconciling bank/office and client
  • Daily updates to data records
  • Chasing supplier receipts and invoices
  • Internal and external queries relating to payments
  • Liaising with legal professionals and team leaders for processing payments

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experienced using MS packages such as Excel
  • Experience using cashiering systems
  • Proclaim [training provided]
  • Attention to details
  • Ability to learn, absorb and grow within the function
  • Confident communicator

Job Types:

£21,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
