Graduate Teaching Assistant
Are you a graduate, considering a role in Teaching/ the Education sector?
Teaching Personnel can provide a unique opportunity to graduates to gain paid experience within a school which will help an application for a teaching qualification.
A school in Chorley, have contacted Teaching Personnel to help them recruit a full-time Graduate Teaching Assistant. The school caters for 11-18 year olds with SEMH who display challenging behaviours. Therefore, the ideal candidate must be resilient, have a calm demeanour and have the ability to remain calm when under pressure.
The school aims to overcome barriers to the young person's education and help to support students to become more confident in themselves and in their academic ability.
This role will include:
Roles in schools include: Varied small group and/or 1:1 SEN Support
• Placements available and suitable to students/ graduates / aspiring teachers
• Access to first rate courses and training (CPD) in a National Teaching School
• Degrees highly sort after include: Education based (Health and Social etc.), Psychology and Sport

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
