- Perform data mining, cleansing, and manipulation; identify necessary data elements and their sources, leverage appropriate tools to acquire and consolidate large volumes of data from different sources (including syndicated data).
- Work with International Sysco Sites and relevant stakeholders within those countries to collate data to a defined cadence.
- Ensure data collected is accurate and comparable across markets, to aligned definitions.
- Work with relevant stakeholders (both in-country – finance contacts, and centrally – Business Technology) to maintain data in a viable database for onward reporting.
- Collaborate with the Business Technology organization to ensure data integrity and data security compliant to Sysco's needs.
- Manage the back end data sources and scripts needed to run various business dashboards
- Assist Sites with data standardization projects that help to move forward Global initiatives
- Conduct comprehensive analysis on various Business initiatives in efforts to create efficiencies and improvement and present to the Sites
- Work with Sites/Suppliers to collect Master data as required for Global initiatives
- Oversee, develop, and deploy new tools and technologies as needed to support the role.
- Have code development knowledge and experience in Python programming language
- Strong comprehension for writing SQL and working with databases
- Understand concept of relational database, have experience with extracting data from various sources and perform analytical tasks
- Experience, and comfortable working with messy data
- Proficient in independently exploring, extracting, analyzing, and presenting information using Microsoft Excel and Power Tools (such as Power Query and Power Automate), leveraging their capabilities to streamline data processing and reporting workflows
- Experience with multi country datasets that need to be aligned and standardized
- Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Data Analytics
- Candidates should have a good level of experience in a complex data / analytical role ideally within a food / foodservice / retail environment
- Candidates should have good commercial acumen, be an analytical and strategic thinker, be empathic and a good communicator, be able to quickly understand data and determine key learnings from it, be driven to succeed, be able to influence others, be open to change and willing to question "why?" to identify opportunities for improvement, be able to multi-task to coordinate multiple concurrently running project workstreams, be resilient, and be committed to drive projects through to completion

Sysco International, officially formed in 2021, is the externally reported segment of Sysco's foodservice businesses outside of the United States. The Role:
Sysco International is hiring for an International Data Analyst to gather, analyse, cleanse and standardize master data from our European operating companies, in order to improve the quality of Sysco's data and drive global harmonization. This work is a critical enabler to drive many current and future International initiatives.
This role reports into Sysco International's Technology structure within the One Sysco Data team, working alongside other Sysco International functions within Sysco's "Global Support Centre" as needed and alongside any 3rd party consultancy resource procured by Sysco. Additionally, the role will work with the in-country Sysco Operational Sites (including but not limited to: Sysco GB, Sysco France, Sysco Ireland and Menigo Sweden). We work with all stakeholder functions within the organisations including but not limited to: Business Technology, Merchandising, Finance/Pricing, Commercial, FSQA, Logistics and Sysco Brand.
