_Role Overview:
_We are seeking a passionate and skilled Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to join our team.

As an HLTA, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and emotional development of our SEMH boys.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of these students within a supportive and collaborative educational environment.


_Key Responsibilities:
_

  • Lead and assist in the planning, delivery, and assessment of learning activities, supporting students with SEMH needs.
  • Provide guidance and support to students on both an individual and small group basis to enhance their academic progress and socialemotional development.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to create and implement effective learning plans, adjusting strategies as needed to accommodate individual student needs.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment within the school.
  • Contribute to the development and preparation of educational materials and resources.

_Requirements:
_

  • Previous experience in an educational setting, particularly working with children or young individuals with SEMH needs, is advantageous.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to engage and motivate students effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

_Qualifications:
_

  • A degree or equivalent qualifications.
  • Additional qualifications in teaching assistance, child development, or relevant fields are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Provide details for us to complete reference checks prior to employment. _
  • Provide an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one (which Pink Tile can assist with). _
