    Description

    Job summary

We recently identified the need to implement a new Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) pathway within Suffolk CFYP to meet the needs of our children and young people who may otherwise struggle to access a specific care pathway; this has been identified by the ICB as a priority area of service development and we have been successful in obtaining funds to develop this exciting new service, to strengthen the existing specialist eating disorder team and the wider system.

We need an experienced Senior Clinical Administrator to work full time to help develop this service. This role will be office based in Stowmarket with the successful applicant needing to work autonomously alongside the clinical team and will involve working with the team providing ongoing day-to-day administrative support and assisting the leadership team to continually refine and improve the service offered.

    Main duties of the job

The post holder must be keen and motivated to improve the care and support offered to children, young people and families and experience of setting up processes is essential as they will be working closely with the Service Lead to develop policies in the team. The post holder will need to be well organised, have strong experience in administrative settings and have knowledge about healthcare/the NHS.

    About us

A job in the new ARFID Service will inevitably be challenging and demanding at times, but it will also be immensely rewarding and provide you with great opportunities to make a genuine difference to the lives of others. You will join a team that is developing a caring, creative and hard-working environment and your ideas about how the service continues to develop and grow will be highly valued.

Here at NSFT we pride ourselves on being a welcoming, talented, friendly and supportive team who like nothing better than sharing experiences and learning from each other. In addition to ongoing training and development opportunities, we are committed to providing an environment in which you can thrive.

Why work for us? We have challenges as a Trust, but we have ambitious aspirations, are pushing ahead with exciting transformation work and we need dedicated individuals to support us on our journey. We have strong, established nursing networks coupled with an exceptional leadership team who will ensure you are truly cared for and cared about.
