    Senior Associate - Private Client 4-6 years

    Location: London, City of London
    Experience Level: 4-6 years PQE
    Qualifications: Qualified in England & Wales, 2:1 degree or higher
    Remuneration: top-competitive

As part of the growing Private Capital Group, you will be working with a diverse and interesting client base, including high-net-worth individuals, established businesses and start-ups, and others. Their clients are connected to various sectors, including technology, finance, entertainment, media, and sports, with a strong presence in the Middle East and the US.

    Role & Responsibilities

    As a Senior Associate in Private Client & Tax Group, your responsibilities will include:

    Drafting wills and advising on succession planning

    Providing guidance on inheritance tax, double tax treaties, and key tax planning strategies

    Advising on cross-border succession planning, including conflict of law issues

    Offering tax residency and domicile advice

    Assisting trustees and beneficiaries with restructuring projects

    Advising on legal issues related to loss of mental capacity

    Requirements:

    We are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications and attributes:

    Excellent academic credentials

    Strong technical skills with an ability to explain complex taxation matters in an accessible way

    A team player with excellent communication skills

    A proactive self-starter with the ability to run sizeable projects

    Ambitious, with a commitment to developing both technical skills and the team's profile

    Preferably, a STEP membership

    Experience with a firm having a strong private client practice
