Powell UK are recruiting for a Service Coordinator to join our team.


Implements best practices for service project coordination including, but not limited to, schedule management, customer (internal and external) liaison, quotations, order entry.


  • Assisting with the effective scheduling of Service labour and resources to meet customer requirements.
  • Assisting with preparation of Health & Safety Risk Assessments and procedural reviews to ensure and maintain best practices.
  • Provide first line support for both internal and external customers.
  • Under the guidance of service supervisors creates purchase order requisitions and monitors buyouts material. Follows up with purchasing to assist in tracking major buyout material and shortages.
  • Assists Service Supervisors retrieving proper supporting documentation for invoicing purposes.
  • Assists in developing, preparing, analysing the budget.
  • Coordinates the preparation of external and internal reports through collecting, analysing and summarizing information from departments.
  • Assists in producing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules.
  • Assists in compiling project costs and schedule status reports.
  • Assists management in tracking and monitoring KPIs.
  • Assists with record keeping and project document maintenance.
  • Plans and coordinates project scheduling, budgeting, and administrative tasks.
  • Assists with coordination, documentation development, monitoring of project logistics, liaison and project updates between internal and external customers and shipments.

Qualifications

  • Certified management qualification (e.g., ILM, NEBSM), or be willing to undertake vocational qualification in team leader/management/ leadership skills.
  • Educated to a minimum of ONC in Electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • Administration or Engineering is preferred.
  • Requires strong communication skills to effectively interface and coordinate activities with company executives, department leaders, colleagues, and customers.
  • Knowledge of project planning, fiscal planning, and contract management preferred.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and projects.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of MS Office
The employee typically performs duties in a normal office environment. There will be some work in a manufacturing environment and exposure to the elements of our factory. Additionally, there may be some work performed in the field with exposure to construction sites or active customer facilities.

Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
