We currently have 3 posts available Lancaster, Thornton Cleveleys and Preston Central.
We looking for a Business Support Officer to join our Adult Social Care Support Services Team.
A Business Support Officer within Support Services is required to undertake administrative duties which includes, updating information on in-house systems, creating and sending out correspondence, ordering equipment, processing invoices using a procurement system, answering and dealing with telephone queries, face to face support, printing, photocopying, scanning, taking action points at meetings, use of outlook emails, word, excel, etc as well as other administration tasks. You will also be handling sensitive information and will need to follow the policies in line with Information Governance.
Together, Support Services provides support to operational managers and their team within Adult Social Care as well as carrying out a number of tasks directly for the people of Lancashire. So it is key that you are able to work within a team, use your own initiative, have the ability to establish positive relationships using clear communication. To do this you will need to be able to manage your own workload and have the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
