    Targeting Analyst

    The Opportunity:

    Critical decisions are made every single day in our military. What if you could use your analytical skills to help them make informed decisions? As a targeting analyst, you use your specialized technical experience and your attention to detail to develop products and analytic assessments to give your client the actionable intelligence and context they need. If you have excellent analytical expertise and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to support our warfighters.

    As a targeting analyst on our team, you'll help your client understand their operational landscape and mission environment. Using your understanding of military capabilities, you'll support MILCAP-related issues with a specific focus on asymmetric and conventional military threats and doctrine. You'll validate the information and apply client tradecraft as you build assessments for clients and policymakers. As the authority on your problem set, the client will look to you for time-critical recommendations, often under pressure. This is a chance to grow your expertise, develop new skills in targeting-specific intelligence, and share your methodologies with other professionals.     You Have:

  • 4+ years of experience working as a Certified Target Coordinate Mensuration (TCM) Analyst in a US Accredited TCM work center
  • Experience with working and supporting Advanced Target Development (ATD) for a US Targeting shop
  • Knowledge of US Weapons and weaponeering systems, such as JWS
  • Knowledge of Collateral Damage Methodology
  • Knowledge of the Joint Targeting Cycle
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Nice If You Have:

  • Experience working in a NATO or Partner environment
  • Clearance:

    Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172, annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
