The IT Solutions (ITS) Specialist for Radiometer is responsible for Radiometer POC-IT solutions installed at customer sites from Pre-sales activities, demonstrations, Sales activities, presentations, meetings, implementation, installation and configuration, training, ongoing system support and 1st/2nd line troubleshooting.


This position is part of the Customer Support > Field Technical Service located in Radiometer Limited and will be fully remote covering the UK and Ireland.

You will be a part of the ITS team and report to the Senior Manager, ITS and Implementation responsible for managing both the ITS and the Training and Implementation teams.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Project manage your AQURE projects according to the specifications, scope and requirements to ensure we meet agreed timeline and scope
  • Ability to develop and adapt technical solutions to meet customer requirements
  • Develop your knowledge and skills to support the wider business and your personal development

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • HNC/HND, degree level in computing or similar level experience
  • Experienced with Microsoft Server Operating Systems (OS), Microsoft SQL Server, TSQL queries and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • Experienced with standard data management protocols such as HL7, ASTM and POCT1-A
  • Experienced in programming/scripting (JavaScript and XML) or use of Mirth Connect software
  • Experienced with IT troubleshooting, project management & developing custom solutions

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS)
  • Experience with data management and IT infrastructure in hospitals
  • Hospital IT interfacing or point of care medical devices
