    Role Multi Skilled Engineer

    Salary:
    upto £47,000


    Location:
    Lacock, Wiltshire

    Working Hours: 4on4off - Days & Nights / 6-6

    My client are looking to expand their engineering team based at their food manufacturing facility in Wiltshire by adding a Multi Skilled Engineer.

    Reporting into the Engineering Manager, this role is key in supporting the wider manufacturing operation and an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as we go through a period of business growth and innovation.


    Role & Responsibilities for Multi Skilled Engineer:

    • Responsible for carrying out effective planned and repair maintenance on equipment to ensure that all planned/regulatory requirements are met and to support achievement of Key Performance Indicators.
    • Ensure compliance with H&S policies and take a pro-active role in the continuing improvements in Engineering safety standards.
    • Ability to carry out complex fault finding and robust countermeasure implementation
    • Ability to identify and implement continuous improvement ideas to improve operational performance & sustainability.
    • Ensure a high level of efficiency through excellent communications with all Engineering teams & Departments
    • Ensure all food safety standards are met within the Engineering operations.

    Qualifications / Experience:

    • Recognised Maintenance Engineering experience & Qualification
    • Good understanding of Health & Safety Regulations
    • Recognised experience in Mechanical & Electrical Fault finding
    • A working knowledge of PLC systems
    • Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings.
    • Basic Health & Safety qualifications and/or able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
    • Previous food manufacturing experience
