Zapsa ltd are a specialist Talent Aquisition Consultancy working in the Renewable Energy, Environmental, IT, Sustainability sectors.

We are working with a vertically integrated Operations and Maintenance specialist for utility scale ground mounted solar farms in the UK and Abroad.

With over 500 MW currently under contract.

As part of the the operational side of the organisation, They are developing an inhouse HV Support team to provide and deliver HV support to the existing Solar Portfolio that the company currently holds.

Ongoing future development of the team will involve providing external HV services to the HV industry

This pivotal role within the organisation and You will be joining a highly experienced and well-trained team of engineers.

Location:
Travel heavy role based around Bristol /Swindon/Gloucester

Authorised Person (AP) Responsibilities:

To be responsible for all High Voltage operations carried out on site
Develop an understanding of the specialist electrical equipment on site
Lead the investigation and resolution of Plant Trips, Equipment failures, incidents and near misses.
Ensure all electrical operations and maintenance activities are carried out across the site(s)
Ensure all electrical related works are carried out to the required turnaround, cost and duration and criteria
Identify unreliable equipment by lost production analysis and critical equipment reviews, implementing systems for repair and or replacement
Provide specialist functional electrical training to the operations team and monitor and report competence

Experience
AP experience in a solar O&M environment essential.
