They are looking for an experienced Site Manager in Leicester on a temp - perm basis.*About the Role*The Civil Site Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of utility and civil engineering projects, ensuring that they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, project management, and regulatory compliance within the utilities and civil engineering sector.*Key Responsibilities:Project Planning and Coordination: Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Safety Compliance:
Implement and enforce strict safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all workers on the site. Conduct regular safety inspections, identify potential hazards, and take corrective actions. Ensure that all workers are trained in safety procedures and adhere to industry regulations.
Resource Management:
Allocate resources effectively, including labour, equipment, and materials, to meet project requirements.
Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, regulatory agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.
Change Management:
Assess and manage changes in project scope, schedule, or budget.
Problem Solving:
Identify potential challenges and proactively develop solutions to mitigate risks.
Address unforeseen issues that arise during construction and make quick decisions to keep the project on track.*Environmental Compliance:
Ensure that the project adheres to environmental regulations and guidelines.
About You *Jobs are countrywide - so must be willing to travel and stay away** Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
