Our client was established in 2005 to support individuals with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs including Prader-Willi Syndrome.

We are working with them to recruit a Head of Quality Improvement to provide Leadership and direction to the Quality Improvement Team and Positive Behaviour Support Team, working across the organisation to drive a quality improvement approach that demonstrablyimproves the outcomes for people we support.


As someone who prioritises our people and the quality of the services we provide, we are looking for individual who will act as a role model to promote the organisation's visions and values at all times.


Responsibilities include

  • To provide responsive and timely support to services to drive quality improvement
  • To coordinate the update of all policies across the organisation and work with the Quality and Compliance Director to review and update all quality related policies and procedures
  • To initiate and support projects to promote best practice and drive quality improvement
  • To work with Area Directors with enhanced responsibilities for PWS, Forensic Services and PBS to support best practices in these specialised areas

The Head of Quality Improvement will

  • Be educated to Degree Level or equivalent, preferably holding a recognised qualification in social work, nursing or social care
  • Have an understanding of current care practices, government initiatives & regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrate an ability to translate theory into practice in a practical and personcentered way
  • Have excellent communication skills verbal and written with strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Have the ability to work as part of a team
  • Be able to work across boundaries to support best practice
  • Demonstrate an ability to develop and follow policies and protocols
  • Ability to manage and develop comprehensive reporting systems and analysis of information
  • Ability to understand risk, impact and recommend remedial action
  • Be willing and able to travel and visit services 23 days per week

We're looking for the following experience

  • 2 years' experience at management level in health and social care
  • Experience of working in quality assurance & service improvement is preferable.
  • Experience of caring for people with learning disabilities and working within the social care environment
