Hours: 37 per week
Our client is a forward-thinking Autism Specific Specialist School seeking a Senior Positive Behaviour Support Coordinator to work with their Transdisciplinary Team (TDT) to support their students within the school.
They are developing significant professional and working partnerships with the already established schools drawing on knowledge and expertise through professional working relationships to ensurebest practise is shared.
This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the school's continuing development where you will be working closely with their Transdisciplinary Team (TDT) and classroom-based staff.
As a transdisciplinary team they strive to deliver best practice at alltimes to their students and are passionate about continued service and professional development.
They aim to deliver the highest level of education and experiences to ensure the best life chances become a sustainable reality for every young person (on an individual needs led basis).
Together, you will create a safe, positive and structured environmentin which every young person is respected and encouraged to achieve independence (through academic, employment and personal skills development).
We are looking for the following 3 characteristics:
- School experience
- Experience working in SEND environment
To be considered for this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate a passion and enthusiasm for supporting autistic pupils and have excellent verbal, and written communication skills, as collaborative working within the Transdisciplinary team is essential.
We are looking to appoint a confident and skilled professional who is committed to developing expertise and specialism within the field.
You will be actively involved in staff training and there will also be the opportunity to increase your knowledge and skills through participation in team and wider NAS continuing professional development (CPDs) programmes.
You must hold a Degree in Psychology (2:1 or above) with graduate basis for registration with the British Psychological Society or equivalent experience.
