Part time (0.8FTE), fixed term (12 months)12 months, 34 weeks term time only, 0.Please note, the salary listed is for a full-time post, working 52 weeks of the year.
This role is for 4 days per week and 34 weeks of the year (term time only), so the actual wage will be pro-rated accordingly.
Student Services are recruiting a Principal Specialist Mentor (Mental Health) to provide individualised support to students with mental health problems.
Specialist mentors provide longer-term interventions, either in person or online, with the overall aim of helping students to successfully complete their degree whilst maintaining their wellbeing.
HCPC, BACP, NMC, etc - Disabled Students' Allowances Team, Dept.No prior experience of working in higher education is required and we will provide a full induction package with training in the role.
This includes assessing and mitigating risk and making referrals to statutory services where appropriate. In addition, you will provide guidance and training to colleagues in Student Services and across the wider university.The role is fully campus-based, and you will be required to work at both our City Centre and Headingley campuses.
