Responsibilities

  • To provide an effective, high quality IT support service to all CG employees in Europe.
  • To work closely with the support and infrastructure teams globally at the direction of the line manager.
  • To have good attention to details to ensure a firsttime fix is provided. To expand relevant IT skills base and be capable in supporting all hardware and software.
  • To consider, and where applicable, suggest potential improvements to systems.
  • Record and respond to support tickets with SLA.
  • Strong indepth knowledge to provide support on Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, SCCM, McAfee, Microsoft Office, Windows, IOS and Android devices.
  • Provide hardware support for desktops, printers and peripherals, including diagnosis and, where appropriate resolution before outsourcing to third parties.
  • Ad hoc tasks as required.
  • Experience using Group Policy and PowerShell scripting to be able to provide support.
  • Providing support for Cisco VOIP, including CUCM administration. Knowledge and understanding to provide support on voice recording systems.
  • Act as a first port of call for all users for software in a standard build and bespoke / specialised software.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills
-
?At least 3 years relevant experience in providing deskside support (ideally within Financial Services Sector).
- ?Educated to A Level or equivalent (or suitable professional qualifications).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills complemented by exceptional interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of discretion and confidentiality;
  • Highly organised and reliable, selfstarter, motivated and ambitious;
- ?Detail oriented with strong organizational skills;

  • Excellent prioritization skills with the ability to excel under pressure;
  • Excellent teamwork skills complemented by the ability to work well independently;
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
