Salary Base:
£22,000 + Service Charge on average £9,000

Average annual salary = £30,000


We have a fantastic opportunity for a Host or Hostess to join our team in GONG, our award-winning bar located within the Shangri-La Hotel on the 52nd floor of The Shard.

With 20 signature cocktails on our menu, (not including the classics) and a selection of wonderful dishes, we embody luxury and Asian influence in a fast-paced, high expectations environment.


Our Host or Hostess will play a key role in Shangri-La, providing the finest personalized service by adhering to food and beverage brand standards and by engaging with our guests & creating memorable experiences for them.

Being the first person to greet our guest makes this an extremely important position, where you will be naturally engaging, positive and professional at all times.


Who we're looking for:

Someone with a pleasant and welcoming manner
Knowledge of Food & Beverage systems
Experience in a luxury, 5 Star Hotel preferred
Flexibility and reliability
Oral and written fluency in English
Confidence in a fast-paced, high-expectations environment
