    Description

    Job Title: Department Manager in Luxury Retail

    Company: Leading Luxury Fashion Retailer

    Mission Statement: The Department Manager closely collaborates with the Store Manager to ensure the efficient operation of the department, focusing on activities such as merchandising, stock availability, sales, profitability, customer experience, team management, and overall day-to-day operations.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Manage category sales and drive business development initiatives
    • Monitor and improve department performance metrics
    • Analyze category business and implement action plans for enhancement
    • Coordinate with Store Manager to set performance targets
    • Stay informed about competitors' activities and provide feedback

    Client Management:

    • Utilize clienteling tools to achieve business goals
    • Provide exceptional customer service and implement clienteling activities
    • Enhance customer service quality and manage expectations
    • Implement CRM tools to build loyal customer relationships
    • Act as a brand ambassador for the category
    • Participate in customer projects

    Operations and Visual Merchandising:

    • Ensure proper management and display of merchandise
    • Maintain inventory accuracy and report stock issues
    • Implement visual merchandising in line with company standards
    • Optimize product display and storage

    Team Management and Development:

    • Review individual performance and provide coaching
    • Motivate team to achieve objectives
    • Organize team efficiently and delegate responsibilities
    • Translate business goals into actionable tasks
    • Conduct category training
    • Execute in-store training routines

    Requirements:

    • 5 years experience in a Supervisor role in Fashion/Luxury Sales
    • Master's Degree preferred
    • Strong selling and communication skills
    • Excellent relationship-building abilities
    • Confidence, organizational, and professionalism skills
    • Client-focused with business acumen
    • Administration and financial skills
    • Computer and Retail management system knowledge
    • Goal-oriented with multitasking capabilities
    • Fluency in English; knowledge of a third language is a plus
