Key Responsibilities
Source and identify reliable suppliers for a wide range of goods and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality
Conduct market research and stay up-to-date with industry trends to optimise procurement strategies
Negotiate prices, contracts, and terms with suppliers to secure the best deals for the company
Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and develop effective purchase plans.
Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from sourcing to order processing and delivery.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock levels to meet demand and avoid stockouts.
Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain
Qualifications and Skills
Proven experience as a Buyer, Purchasing Agent, or Procurement Specialist.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with suppliers, customers, and colleagues.
Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven procurement decisions.
Proficiency in using procurement and inventory management software.
Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Ethical and dedicated to promoting sustainable and ethical sourcing practices.
