About the Company

A leading technology and IT company are looking for a Service Desk Engineer to provide support on a fully remote basis.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to work in a fast paced environment and learn new skills. They are looking for someone who hasa passion for helping others by delivering first class technical solutions.
Your technical responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Working on 2nd/3rd line IT issues until resolved
  • Liaising with customers and provide information to aid them in their day to day IT related activities
  • Providing technical support and acting as a technical liaison
  • Supporting a contracted range of hardware and software products
  • Reporting directly to team leaders, service support managers and supervisors
  • Assisting the account team leader in the delivery of outstanding levels of customer service
  • Troubleshooting and supporting, Windows, Hyper V, Microsoft Exchange, Firewalls
Essential Skills and personal qualities

  • MSP Service Desk experience
  • Experience with designing and implementing of network security solutions, firewalls and switching
  • Experience with designing and implementing Active Directory and Group Policies
