We have a rapidly growing pipeline and we need a Project Planner to help us deliver our projects on time and to budget.

Key Role Requirements
Reporting to the Director of Project Delivery, you will be:

  • Creating, maintaining and reviewing a programme of work
  • Producing progress reports and forecasts for team members, clients and stakeholders
  • Breaking large jobs down into phases of development
  • Using project management tools to plan timeframes
  • Working with estimators to calculate the resources needed for a project
  • Planning contingency programmes in case timeframes change
  • Meeting with contractors and suppliers, as required
  • Provide planning for several projects
  • Working between office and construction sites.
  • Monitor and analyze project effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative tools.
  • Plan, coordinate and monitor activities of assigned projects
  • Develop detailed task lists and work effort assessment.
  • Prepare short and longterm resource allocation plans based on input from all key players and team members.
  • Oversee schedules and risk management plans and provide serious deviations warnings of issues likely to hinder project deliverables.
  • Identify changes in work scope in the project plan.
  • Ensure to convey required project data and information to project teams.
  • Prepare and present regular internal and external project reports for management.
  • Evaluate and analyze with team, risks and issues compromising project results
  • Lead development of baseline schedule and support Project Managers (PM) in Project Reviews.
  • Gather actual data, update project schedule and develop reliable schedule forecast with support from project team.
  • Create and manage integrated master project plans with detail WBS structures.
  • With the support of the Project Manager, conduct intensive interfacing with key stakeholders to analyze complex schedules and develop viable action plans for scheduling risk mitigation.

Experience

  • Demonstrated use of Project Management software, including at least Microsoft Project
  • Demonstrating knowledge of construction
  • Demonstrable ability to analysis the effectiveness of project management tools
  • Holding/Working towards Project Management qualifications and affiliations
  • Holder Project Management Certificates
  • Ability to Facilitate team planning, risk assessment, and WBS development sessions.
