Description of Role
Working in a Modular Construction factory between 7.30am to 4.30 pm, Monday to Fridays.

You will be required to set goals and monitor progress for the daily performance of your own production cell and that of your cell grouping, delivering safety, quality, schedule, productivity, and cost reduction targets.


Key Responsibilities
Maintain high level of visibility and communicate daily with Cell Leaders with your cell grouping and your production operatives;

  • Be an escalation point for the groups production operatives, answer questions and provide the required resources for success;
  • Coordinate, review and check Cell Leaders ability to accurately maintain the operatives time, production and training records, using the company's systems;
  • Help Cell Leaders within your group and your operatives to succeed through performance management, coaching, feedback and team development;
  • Create teambuilding opportunities and celebrate team success;
  • Assist with the hiring, interviewing and training processes of the Cell Leaders and production operatives;
  • Safeguard product Quality by adhering to quality standards and processes;
  • Create and maintain a respectful work environment by listening, seeking facts to support decisions;
  • Coordinate, review and summarise daily and weekly reporting to the Production Manager to provide sight of target achievement, scrap and other data required to accurately reflect production and maintain inventory accuracy;
  • Foster positive working relationships with colleagues and teams across the organisation
  • Work with employees to motivate and inspire high levels of performance and participation;
  • Develop a highperformance work team that maintains excellence in safety and quality;
  • Be the expert in understanding the job and processes across the cell group and to provide direction and train leadership to the Cell Leaders;
  • Support Cell Leaders and operatives in understanding company policies and practices;
  • Maintain current working knowledge of plant equipment, processes, standards and quality criteria.

Essential Key Competencies:


  • 2 years Modular Construction experience
  • 5 years Manufacturing experience
  • 5 years leadership experience
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing processes
  • Embody the Company Values
  • Good knowledge of the work required in at least five cells
  • Leadership
  • Bias for action and sense of urgency;
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills;
  • Effectively supports change;
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and product;
  • Previous leadership required;
  • Self-Starter mínimal supervision required;
  • Ability to support a continuous improvement culture;
  • Strong communication and listening skills. Effective communicating 1:1 and in groups;
  • Ability to maintain a respectful and safe work environment;
  • Practical knowledge of lean and six sigma tools and strategies;
  • Must have basic computer skills
  • Microsoft Office (Word & Excel);
  • Goal/Results oriented ability to set high goals and achieve results.
