The role:


We are transforming the way we operate so that we can ramp up our production levels to keep up with new business demand.


Working in our modular construction factory, Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 4.30pm, you will be using lean working practices and play an active role in our continuous improvement activities.

This is a physically demanding role.


Key activities:


  • As part of a team within the Cut Shop Production Zone you will be completing assigned tasks to support the modular construction assembly process, by cutting;
- plasterboards, paroc panels, acoustic flooring, plywood, OSB board, MDF and cement
boards

  • You will be using, a vertical panel saw, computerised table saw and various hand tools
  • Creating jigs for the cut shop and the factory floor
  • Installing paroc panels
  • Helping out in other Production Zones, where needed
  • Adhering to health and safety procedures
  • Maintaining good housekeeping, and
  • Ensuring high standards of quality by regularly checking all finished work and amending where necessary
  • Will be a keen DIYer, with some experience as a machine operator and come from an assembly or construction labouring background
  • Familiar with using hand tools, jigs, diverse machinery and measurement tools
  • Reliable, hardworking and committed
  • Have the ability to accurately follow written procedures
  • Have a strong attention to detail
  • Selfmotivated, flexible with a cando attitude
  • Be an active Team player
  • Able to adapt to a busy factory environment
  • Have a basic understanding of technical drawings. This is desirable
