ROLE SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, the role will be a key member of the Finance team that will help support the growth and daily business activities of the business globally.
The role provides an exciting opportunity to be instrumental to the strategic direction of the company, working across the organisation interacting with all departments and overseas offices.
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Expense approvals and maintenance
- Supplier account reconciliations
- Preparing and processing bank & Bacs payments on a weekly/monthly basis
- Posting of bank payments to our accounting system
- Updating bank details and supplier details for all suppliers
- Assisting with checking & resolving balances on the aged creditors
- Assisting other members of the team as required
- Other as hoc administrative roles as required
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Relevant experience within a service industry desirable
- Proven experience in managing and reconciling large supplier accounts
- Knowledge of multi entity currency transactions
- Can work independently
- Self-Starter
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of Sun Systems/NetSuite would be advantageous
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Proven experience in working to tight deadlines
- Intermediate Excel skills
INTERNAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for assisting with compliance to Reed & Mackay's certification programmes and policies.
