One of our long-standing cleints is urgently looking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller for a 6 month Fixed Term contract.

Its a great opportunity to join a really nice businsses with a great team.

We need someone with experience who enjoys being organised and likes buislding relationships with customers and who can ultimately influence and support their billing processes.


Key Experience Needed:


  • Responsible for all credit control duties and reporting directly ti the Finance Mananger
  • Processing of monthly and ad hoc direct debits
  • Ensuring all contract documentation is in place
  • To ensure that debts are paid in a timely manner
  • Dealing promptly with internal and external queries about payments, ensuring clients / suppliers pay on time
  • Identify changes in payment patterns and propose action to avert indebtedness
  • Handle disputed invoices and negotiate to bring payment within the agreed terms
  • Provide accurate advice on billing / invoice queries
  • Ensure monthly processing deadlines are met as required
  • Ensure all transactions are compliant with Company's' policies and procedures
  • Providing adhoc reporting as and when requested by managemen

Key Requirements:


  • At least two years expernce within Credit Control
  • Basic Bookkeeping and Accounting knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • General experience of prime ledgers
  • Sales, Purchase and Cashbook is preferred
  • Good attention to detail
  • Excellent MS Office and Excel skills.
  • A good team player
