    Description

    We are hiring a Principal Subsea CAD Designer (Structural) to join our team at our office in London Sutton.



    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare design/fabrication drawings of steel structures and piping using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD software.
    • Assign, oversee, check, and approve the work of a team on a project.
    • Act as the main point of contact for project communication and activities.
    • Identify project resource requirements and communicate them to the management.
    • Evaluate, organize, and prioritize work for self and team.
    • Participate in technical audits and training.
    • Assist in the resolution of construction difficulties related to design problems.
    • Ensure compliance with company QA and HSE procedures.
    • Interface with project discipline leads to ensure CAD deliverables meet schedules.
    • Manage internal and external project interfaces.

    Requirements:

    • Technical education in mechanical or structural engineering.
    • Prior experience in subsea structural fabrication within the Marine and/or Oil and Gas industry.
    • Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
    • Knowledge of industry codes, standards, and design guidelines.
    • Strong communication skills in English.

    Desirable Experience:

    • Experience in offshore installation method sketches.
    • Proficiency in Autodesk Vault and Siemens Teamcentre.
    • Experience in offshore wind installation/structures.
