Position:
Technical Sales Representative

Job Function/Purpose:
To process customers enquiries and orders, and prepare, distribute and follow up quotations accordingly.


Principal Responsibilities (not in order of importance):

  • Answering the telephone during normal sales office hours
  • Taking customer orders and processing them in an accurate and timely manner
  • Providing technical support to all areas of the business when required
  • Dealing with technical queries that may arise as a result of enquiries, quotations and orders
  • Visiting customers as required to ensure the stability and growth of each account
  • Complete in a professional manner all necessary process paperwork and file accordingly
  • Fulfil training programs deemed necessary to allow efficient performance of duties and assist in your personal development
  • To impart personal experience & knowledge to other members of the team
  • Following up on sales quotations
  • Make sales calls to new & existing clients when required
  • Any other duties as required, commensurate with job position

Beck Prosper are currently recruiting for an experienced Estimator / Technical Sales Person to join our growing Subsea sales team.

The role will involve the following duties (not in order of importance):

Answering the telephone during normal sales office hours.

Quoting customer enquiries within the specified timeframes.

Following up on live sales quotations.

Maintain contact with existing clients and generate new business from potential customers.

Dealing with queries of a technical nature and provide technical support to other areas of the business.

Knowledge of fastener material specifications and testing is advantageous.

Salary:
From £25,000.00 per year
