    Description

    We are currently looking for a Full-Time Family Solicitor to join our team. Our firm of Solicitors is well-established and operates in various divisions, including Litigation and Family, Private Client (Probate and Estates), Residential Conveyancing, and Commercial.

    • The ideal candidate must have previous experience in Family Law, handling their own caseload, and providing advice on a wide range of areas, such as:
      - Divorce
      - Financial Remedy Orders
      - Co-habitee disputes, including Trust of Land and Appointment of Trustees applications
      - Children matters, including child arrangements orders
      - Schedule 1 applications
      - Pre- and post-nuptial agreements
      - Co-habitation agreements
      - Parenting plans
      - Some exposure to alternative dispute resolution
    • Being a qualified Mediator would be a plus for this role.
    • The selected individual will work in our Family Department, managing their caseload under supervision.
    • Essential skills for this role include proficient keyboard skills, proficiency in Word and Excel for document processing, familiarity with audio digital dictation, managing emails and electronic calendars using Outlook, excellent communication skills for client and third-party interactions in the legal process, ability to prioritize tasks, adherence to firm procedures, and strong numeracy and written abilities.
    • Additionally, the ideal candidate should be well-organized, capable of effective client and stakeholder communication, perform well under pressure, and efficiently complete assigned tasks with precision. Prior experience in Family Law is a must. Although a one to three-year PQE is preferred, we also welcome applications from more experienced individuals.
    • This is a full-time office-based role, with working hours from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, including a one-hour lunch break.
    • Salary will be based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
