About the role:


The Technical team liaises with UCL Estates and contractors to provide services to UCL Accommodation sites, and we are recruiting for a Technical Services Co-ordinator to join our team in this newly created role on a 12 month Fixed-Term Contract.


The Technical Services Co-ordinator will support the Technical Services Manager in a number of ways including preparing documents and procedures for project work, updating spreadsheets and records, setting up and attending meetings, taking and distributing minutes and receipting invoices and purchase orders.

You will also liaise with site managers on project works, liaise with internal and third party stakeholders and the Accommodation Leadership team as needed.


About you:


To excel in this role, you should have previous experience in a technical support role, project support/project management role or similar.

You will need to have excellent IT (MS Office including Excel) and administrative skills, with previous experience working in an administrative role in a large, complex organisation.


You are an effective communicator, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills, who is confident in dealing with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.

You are a highly organised individual, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to anticipate potential issues.

You are adaptable and resilient, committed to providing a responsive and helpful service and a simple and consistent work process.
