**The Role
Are you looking for the next exciting career opportunity? Do you hold relevant gas engineering qualifications with experience within a reactive setting as a Domestic Gas Engineer? If so, we may have the perfect role for you

We are currently seeking to hire a professional with a background in Plumbing and Heating to join the Plumbing and Heating Division of our Building Services company.

You will take on a variety of work to help repair, maintain, adapt, and refurbish domesticcustomers homes and commercial properties across the Northeast.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with upwards of 2 years plumbing experience to join our growing Newcastle upon Tyne based company.

**Key Responsibilities: The key responsibilities of a Plumbing and Heating Engineer include, but are not limited to:

Provide responsive and professional service and repair of domestic gas appliances ensuring all properties are maintained and safe.
Completion of maintenance works resolving problems and identifying solutions.
Use Mobile Phone based IT system to review and update allocated jobs.
Be professional, deliver and care about colleagues, customers and partners.
Be loyal and punctual.
Listen to and communicate with customers.

Salary of £30 £35k per year depending upon experience.

**The Person
The key skills and qualities of a Plumbing and Heating Engineer are:

City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing NVQ.
Hold relevant gas engineering qualifications (CCN1, CENWA, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1).
Upwards of 2 years' experience of carrying out servicing and maintenance on gas appliances and domestic heating systems.
Gas Safe Registration.
Full driving licence.
Have own tools, although some larger power tools can be provided if necessary.
DBS Check will be required.
Possess at least three years' experience within a reactive setting as a Domestic Gas Engineer.
Have a proven track record of problem solving, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
