Learning Support Assistant
Location: Southwark
Pay:£80 - £100

We believe in the transformative power of drama and the arts in helping students develop communication skills, self-confidence, and a sense of belonging.
As a Drama Graduate, you will:
- Support teaching and learning
- Work with children 1:1 or delivering sessions with small groups of students.
- Manage classroom resources.
- Take children on educational trips and visits.
- Have a good basic understanding or English and Maths
- Keep children safe when they are experiencing heightened behaviours with strong behaviour management skills and excellent communication.
- Create, play and teach games to pupils to develop their social skills or further learning.
- Be paid £80 £100 a day based on experience.
- Commit to full time
- Monday to Friday 8:30am 4pm
- Part time will be considered.
- Have confidence.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A genuine passion for working with children and young adults with special needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability and creativity to tailor drama activities to individual student needs.
- Empathy, patience, and a nurturing attitude.
- A commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of students with special needs.
- Sense of humour
